Why is my AC blowing warm air?

Usually caused by low refrigerant, dirty filters, thermostat settings, or an outdoor unit problem.

Clogged drain line is the most common or broken pump which removes water from the fan coil.

Check the controller is set to heat mode and the temperature is set higher then the room temperature, around 23-25*c on the controller.

Check the controller is set to cool mode and set the temperature to around 19*c. Dirty air filters will also reduce the units cooling capacity.

This often indicates an error with the system. You can try resetting the system by turning off the power supply to the unit, wait a few minutes then turn back on. If problem returns then an engineer would be required.

Dirty air filters or evaporator coil can lead to unpleasant odours, a maintenance visit would be needed.

This could be due to low refrigerant, a leak on the system.

Check the fuse board for a tripped fuse or the isolator has been turned off.

(A) buzzing or humming noise could indicate electrical issues, turn system off and contact icool. (B) Squealing or screeching may suggest a problem with the fan motor. (C) Gurgling noise often occur when there is a refrigerant leak. Turn Off the unit and contact icool.
